Questions and comments about the Podcast: Having problems getting episodes since Ep. 45 -- help!

    Hey all.
    I was hoping one of you bright peoples could help me out. My subscription to the Podcast had always been active every step of the way. However, last January (shortly after Joey's altered format episode with less talking) the episodes no longer downloaded automatically into my ITunes as they always had (I was already enjoying the set-up through Acatunes for months at that point). So I assumed Joey may have been taking time off to re-think how he was going to proceed with his approach. After a while, I just assumed he was taking a really REALLY long time, or had just quit (which was sad to me). But unbeknownst to me, the episodes kept coming out, and now I've finally realized I've missed out on them.
    SO I tried to re-establish my account at Acatunes just now by filling it with 10 acabucks, submitting my credit card info, and obtaining the feed link to re-paste into my ITunes. No luck. All it did was initiate downloads of all the part time episodes.
    Anyone have a clue and can help me figure this out? I sent a similar note to Acatunes, but I figure I'd try to feel out the problem here also.

    I'm not sure exactly why your computer didn't download the episodes - if you have a paying subscription through Acatunes and have put the appropriate code in the "Subscribe to Podcast" box in iTunes, then something is wrong through Acatunes and you did the right thing by contacting them. Acatunes should not have given you part-time downloads as Joey only sends them the full time episodes. If they are doing such - this needs to be corrected immediately.

    However, since you have missed these episodes, Acatunes does not yet have available the back episodes, meaning you can only download the most current one. For this I would contact Joey and seem if there is some way you can purchase them, perhaps even independently through him? Or maybe he'll pass them along for free - not sure about that one.

    You were right. ITunes downloaded the latest full episode (52—I loved it!). Now all I need is somehow to get the ones I've missed (46-51). I'll see about contacting Joey...
